Before Dunkin’ I worked at the Hilton Hotel. I was a dish washer for about eight years there.

I have been working at Dunkin’ Donuts for over two years. I am currently a shift leader on first shift. My friends had worked for the company before I joined, and they told me great things about working there. The hours were also flexible so it fit into my schedule very well.

As a shift leader I mostly try to keep everything in order. I help to keep the store clean, solve problems with the customers, and work with the other employees. I lead a shift of about seven to eight employees. I mainly handle the drive-thru.

The best part of my job is definitely the customers. They make me feel great. There is one customer who goes through the drive-thru two to three times per day. We all know his car and have his order ready when he drives through. It’s nice to have these connections with the customers.

I would like to become Store Manager soon. I hope to achieve this in one year or less.
